ORGANISING A MOVE INTO RESIDENTIAL CARE

For a number of years we have been using Simply Clearances, predominantly to assist in the clearing and cleaning of properties which have gone to probate. If you are organising the move of a relative into residential care then there are a few other things that we can combine with the house clearance to make everything a little bit easier.

Firstly there will be some personal items, and probably some smaller pieces of furniture, which your relative will want to take with them. We can deliver these to their new residence during the house clearance.

Secondly, there may be some family items which you wish to have delivered to either your address or another family member. We can do this for you. As we are a National company we can deliver anywhere in the UK. We also use an excellent overseas furniture shipper who can deliver items anywhere overseas to the door, taking care of customs, insurance, packing and delivery to their door.

DELIVERING ITEMS

Frequently, if you are organising the house clearance, there will be items that you wish to keep, and would like delivered to your own address. Again, this is a situation that we regularly come across, and we can incorporate this into the job for you.

We can deliver one item, or a full house full, to anywhere driveable, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Spain etc etc etc. If it's going further then please see our shipping section below.

OVERSEAS SHIPPING

We use Robinsons International Furniture Shippers. They are centrally based and we have sent items through them to Mainland Europe, American and Australia. They are a company whose service we would recommend without hesitation. They will take care of packing & crating, insurance, customs, and delivery to your door.

REMOVALS

If you are downsizing, we can combine the removal and the house clearance for you. We would first undertake the removal, and deliver all required to your new address, and the afterwards return to your property and clear it. We would do our usual complete clearance, just imagine...moving house without having to clear out the old one...

STORAGE

If you are clearing a house, want to keep the contents, but have nowhere to put them for the foreseeable future, then we can arrange a storage solution which suits you. Either in our own secure storage facilities, or perhaps instead we can deliver the items to a self storage unit near you, so that you can access them easily whenever you want.
