HOUSE CLEARANCE IN BASLOW (DERBYSHIRE)

FURNISHED 4BED DETACHED HOUSE

The 4 bed house was fully furnished. We arrived at the property at 8.30, the owners of the house lived away so they got their neighbour to advise us on what work required doing. She showed us around and told us what items she wanted to be cleared (all items in the property). Once the lady had shown us around she left us to clear the house while she got on with cleaning the kitchen.

We started in the bedrooms. All clothes were bagged as she knew we recycled all clothes and textiles. We then cleared all the beds, wardrobes, cupboards, side boards, mirrors and bathroom items. Next was the living room, we cleared all sofas, electrical items, TV, tables, dining suite,and side boards.

The kitchen was already cleared of food and cleaning products so all that was left was to remove all white goods and table & chairs.

In the garage there were general items which were cleared and all metal work, electrical items and wood were sent for recycling.

Once we completed the clear we hoovered and dusted, leaving the property clean and tidy.

We filled 2 vans full from the property so we had to visit a local recycling site to unload. We removed roughly 2.3tons of waste.

We completed this job in roughly 9 hours.

The customer was very satisfied with the clearance we did for her.

ARRANGING YOUR HOUSE CLEARANCE

Every job we do is different. So before we arrive we will contact you to discuss the property that needs moving, large or delicate items, any special requirements, access and so on.

We will agree a fee and the most suitable time to carry out the clearance. You don't even need to be there on the day, just arrange for the keys to be with your solicitor, estate agent or other whoever and we will collect.

The actual clearance includes one and a half tons of waste for recycling and we can arrange for storage of the property if needed.

We will then give you a call and ask you to meet us at the property to check that everything has been done to your satisfaction. In over 20 years of doing house clearances we have never had an unsatisfied customer.

PAYMENT

It is only then when the job is done that we ask for payment. You can pay by cheque or debit card and we will give you a full VAT invoice, which in many instances you can forward to your solicitor for reimbursement.
